What drives you, what moves you, what makes nothing else matter and from your heart propels you? What motivates you to do more every day? What moves you to fill your life with beauty around you? There’s a reason that we’re attracted to the finer things in life – why we like the look of nice cars, why we enjoy nice clothes, why we’re attracted by beautiful arts, items, and things with finesse. The reason for that has been mixed up with symbols of status and the ego’s need for attaining it. Primarily because many of the finer things out there tend to cost more and so status meant money and provides the opportunity to obtain more of them. But the finer things in life can also create passion. Think about how much more care you would give to them, think about how much more self worth you would feel because you’ve given yourself enough worth to have them. I’m not advocating materialistic pursuits, I am advocating self worth and deciding that instead of buying what you can get more of, buy fewer and nicer. Instead of many watches, buy a couple that are really nice and you value more. Have flowers in your home. Nice paintings and photographs that move you. Fewer clothes, with nicer lines. Invest in your own sense of self worth. That in turn will start to bring and support your passion for what drives you, and it’ll give you drive that creates more passion within you.
