Really working through our stuff requires real hard work. Most people don’t want to deal with their stuff. They want to feel like they’re doing something without actually changing anything. They may try new things once in a while but only allow themselves to approach those things from their current mindset. They truly want to try, but they want to stay the same while they do this. This is all subconscious of course – we don’t willingly want to not succeed and we all want to have success and do the things we know will be the best for us. So many live through life saying.. I tried this, I tried that, but nothing seems to work, or nothing seems to stick. And that’s because they’re stuck on what they value now. The change is the hard part, but people want to make things easy – they want easy changes for changing who they are. To truly change who you are you have to step into territory that your mind isn’t comfortable with. It’s going to take effort, you may cringe while doing it, and you’ll like fight yourself while going through it. Because if it was easy, you would’ve already broken out of what you want to break free from.
